Gunmen Abduct Foreign Nationals in Gaza

(IsraelNN.com) Arab gunmen in Gaza have abducted two foreign workers, apparently employed in the American School in Gaza. According to Reuters, the gunmen abducted them from a vehicle near the school, taking them to a yet unknown destination.


Arab Lawyers Planning War Crimes Trial in Cairo

(IsraelNN.com) Arab lawyers are planning a moot court to place Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, US President George W. Bush and British Prime Minister Tony Blair on trial for war crimes against the Arab people.

The legal union which is arranging the trial is representative of 400,000 lawyers in 21 Arab nations.

Sharon is charged with crimes against Palestinian Authority (PA) residents while Bush and Blair are accused of war crimes pertaining to operations in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The trial is scheduled to be held in Cairo in February 2006.


Shin Bet Agents to Testifies at Chicago Trial of Hamas Terrorist

(IsraelNN.com) Two GSS (General Security Service/Shin Bet) agents and possibly two Israel Police officers will be testifying at the Chicago trial of Hamas terrorist Muhmad Salah who stands accused of funding Hamas activities.

Special security precautions will be made for the agents in the rare move, permitting them to testify abroad after Salah claimed following his arrest in 1993, the testimony elicited from him was obtained under duress.

Salah was taken into custody upon his arrival in Ben-Gurion International Airport and his was found to be carrying $100,000.

Kassam Landed Close to Soldiers’ Lodging

(IsraelNN.com) Military officials are calling it a miracle, explaining one of the Kassam rockets fired into southern Green Line Israel on Tuesday landed in an army base south of Ashkelon, close to the soldiers’ quarters. There were no injuries in the attack.

One soldier was treated in a medical clinic on base for anxiety, and commanders admit the attack has created new realities on the military installation which is home to many new inductees.
